Cait sighed and pushed the button for the elevator. She'd been given an assignment by Dr. Evans and she wasn't happy about it. Of course, any kind of field work was lovely for her, especially as an intern. But it was clear that Dr. Evans was only pawning it off on her because he didn't want to do it. She could only imagine the person she was going to interrogate. If it was someone a psychologist didn't even want to see then it couldn't be anyone particularly interesting.
When the elevator stopped on her floor, she grabbed opened the folder in her hand and looked for the room number. Thankfully, she was already in the right hallway, so any further exploration of the floor wasn't necessary. She scanned the rest of the sheet before continuing on her way. Perhaps the document would have a name. And it did. Alexandria Tibbits. She groaned.
It was public knowledge that Lexie and Cait didn't get along, though it was so far in the past, that she couldn't even remember what triggered it. Probably something to do with the very high pedestal that Lexie sat on all the time that apparently even the biggest dig wouldn't be able to crumble. Closing the folder, she proceeded down the hall in a much worse mood that she'd been in to begin with. She honestly didn't think anything could make it any worse.
That is, until she found herself face to face with the one person who could.
