Cait sighed. He was right. There were two sides to every story. Unfortunately for Lexie, she didn't care about that side. Nope. She only cared about the important side-- her side. "Whatever," she responded. Now, he was the one getting under her skin. Everything he was saying had a point. She couldn't just avoid it. It was easy to point fingers and give opinions when she didn't have to actually face Lexie. She didn't have any problem being a bitch to someone's face, but something about being forced to listen to whatever was going on was starting to sink in. She was probably going to have to hear about all the gory details with David, too. Ugh.
She clicked her tongue and frowned. He was asking her for something. He never asked her for anything. "Fine. I won't goad her too much. Happy?" There was a small amount of goading that she had to do, as a part of her job. The medical field preferred not to call it goading, though. More like pinpointing an issue.
