Tagging is important for multiple reasons, but the most important one is this: filtering. Tags allow people to filter what it is they're looking for without having to scroll through pages and pages of posts - easy peasy, right? At least, that's how it should be: we all want things to be easily accessible and easy to navigate right when we want it, so let's keep that in mind when we're posting here.
A basic list of tags has been supplied for this community on this post, but if there is a special tag that you'd like to see (or maybe it just isn't featured yet), please comment on this post and it'll get added asap!
MAIN TAGS
GENRE • it's important to know what you're getting yourself into, right? Every post should have a GENRE tag attached to it; some games will be a combination of many! You can utilize as many genre tags as necessary on posts, but only if applicable. Sure, GAME 1 might feature some horror elements in it, but if it is not a strictly horror genre game, please don't add that tag in! It'll help people know which games hit their wants/needs more accurately.
TYPE • is another important tag for filtering: what type of game is this? Celeb, Fandom, Faux, PB? There are some categories that people don't play in or maybe they're simply looking for a specific thing at the moment, so this will help them to narrow down what they're looking for.
STYLE • will complete The Holy Trinity of basic tags required on all posts: what kind of style does this game feature? Some people don't want to be in a game that has more IC interaction than threading, so be sure to clearly tag your posts to indicate what players can expect from the game prior to joining it.
OTHER TAGS

GAME STATUS • is it an open game people can join or do they need to know someone to be invited? small gpsl or larger public?
