Éomer, how is my cousin? I am so grieved at this turn of events, and I want you to know that I am here for you and Lothíriel whenever you need me. Do not hesitate to contact me.

I love the spring! I remember how much hope I would find when the trees came into bloom in Ithilien, even over the creeping darkness of Mordor. It was as if it were a promise that even in the darkest times, good could triumph.

I give this to all of you who are hurting - and I know there are many of you - keep faith. For every winter will become spring, and bloom the brighter for the darkness you have survived.

He is a normal horse, just a better one. He eats the same, but let him free feed in the fields.

And if you can handle a horse then you can ride him, otherwise I'd advise just walking him or he might throw you out of rebellion.

But he is a grand horse, and I think perhaps I should walk him, as he does not seem to be very good-natured.

I am to blame as much as he. I forced her onto him despite her repeatedly telling me she didn't feel comfortable.
