Notes: Set approximately a century after TRY. My muse hit me over the head with this little story with a Warner Bros. grand piano after I re-read a favorite old 'fic in another fandom, "The Last Temptation of Meggan Braddock" by Indigo. Her story provoked the initial 'What-If?' thought that all muses go rabid over, and just ran with it... in an entirely different direction.
Summary: Worried? No, Xellos told himself, he wasn't worried at all. He was Mazoku. He didn't worry over something so trivial. But what the hell was going on? Where was she? It was just so unlike the Filia he knew that he doubted this was her handiwork.
