Chaos Unraveled OOC Community

After days of computer-less life due to some unexpected laptop death, I'm finally back. I actually had to buy a new computer...

Anyway, as all my files are now lost and at the moment my inspiration in reading back-logs is a bit nil because of my failure in my practical finals, I bid you to assume all threads Jazz and Vader were in happened as they were planned. His Sithliness and the robot were just a bit more on the silent side the days after.

Sorry for the long absense.

I'll try to get back into the game as fast as I can.

1. Is anyone still planning on posting in the party thread? I ask because nobody's posted in a long time and I kind of assumed it had just died, but I'm getting in trouble for it still being open (too many logs, heh). So, unless that's going to actually pick up again sometime in the near future, I'm going to go ahead and close it out officially. It was a just-for-fun thing, anyway.

2. I will probably be a little slower than usual for the next weekish because I'll be visiting my fiance in Florida. Still around, though.

3. Does anybody want to log with GLaDOS?

I haven't been getting response notifications in my email for about a week now, so I want to apologize in advance if I've been MIA in some conversations! If there's a convo one of my characters is having with yours and I don't respond in a timely fashion, please poke me. I certainly don't want to be rude! D:

Two small things.

1. Would everyone be willing to have their characters understand that Schro was given a nasty beating in return for losing his fight? Lucy's got to make a point with this.

2. Is the layout for the main community journals looking alright for everyone? For me, it's kind of messed up and if this is a widespread issue I'd like to know if I should change it to something else.

Okay guys, two plots coming up!

FIRST! The Asgardian Meeting Plot! I'm thinking that I'll set the thread up tomorrow morning, which should give everyone enough time to get ready for it, since they knew it was coming. For those who don't want to participate in the thread or who are not here right now, don't worry. Blythe will be checking on the Asgardians who were quiet on the journals and it will be assumed that they were there, even if they say nothing ICly.

SECOND! Tailypo and Banru set out to wreck some shit! We need an Asgardian volunteer to get the hell beat out of. Or, if you would rather that your character not get too beat up, I'm sure that we could come to some sort of agreement. The most important thing is just getting an Asgardian to be jumped in an ambush by Tailypo and Banru. Any takers?

Jiangling (aka Reno-mun) back again with another Niflheimer. Meet GLaDOS from Portal! Redesigned to be able to move around Niflheim (see icon!). There's a better description in her profile if you need it.

For the sake of effect imagine EVERYTHING she says coming through in a rather flat mechanical-sounding female voice. For those unfamiliar, have an amibiguous non-spoilery clip from the beginning of the game. The floating voice that tells the player to do stuff is GLaDOS. ;)

Also, hi guys, I'm back. Sorry about the wait.

I’m sorry everyone, but I think it is about time that I dropped Tohru. She has been a really fun character to play, and I really enjoyed playing with all of you, but I am just not as comfortable playing her now as I once was. She just isn’t working out for me and it has gotten really hard for me to play her.

I am finishing up the thread I am in but after that Tohru is going to be gone.

I am not leaving the game though! I have an application in for another character and am currently considering apping another.

Thanks to a deal with Emerald, the assassin has helped Tailypo find a way into the barn again. He will be sneaking in tonight, taking two horse tails and leaving at least three dozen rabbit carcasses (all internally devoured) inside.

Helpful hint: If one were to lay down bear traps around the barn, Tailypo wouldn't be likely to return~

On another note! Blythe's mood swings will be slightly more radical than usual due to her halfblood heritage. Just a fair warning!

Ok, I'm getting back into the game as much as I can (What with college and all. :[ Why'd I have to pick hard ones? D:), But I can't seem to come up with anything for Walter. I needs help with him. D: Just about anything will do (I'm also watching some vids from youtube to see if that'll help any. ^^)

I've been away from the RP for a couple of days and I'm very sorry. I'll be back tomorrow and catch up. I'd do it right now but I'm about to go to work and I don't want to do a half-assed job of it.

The weather is really bad where I am, so I'm not staying on after leaving this message... I just got online long enough to apologize for the two late tournament threads. I like to keep my computer off when there's bad storms.

Hey! I'm out for the summer, and currently have a fair amount of free time on my hands, so I've decided to offer character art, if anyone's interested.

I'll take three or four at a time, and post them all when I've finished.

New characters will be arriving on the 26th. There will be a list appearing in this post of who they are - every single one is a Niflheimer, but I'm waiting for confirmation from them before I add them to the list.

Currently Confirmed Characters:

Duelists, don't worry about starting your trial threads. The Mod would like to formalize the trials by having one of the NPCs post the threads at the allotted times. To make sure your characters aren't confused when they first enter the arena, Sandalphon will be the first to post in each thread, guiding the selected fighters to their weapons.

Once each character has a post with their weapons, Sandalphon will then post again and explain the rules. She will step aside and the duel will commence how ever the players see fit. Once the fights are finished and a clear winner has been decided, Sandalphon will end the trials. The NPCs will take the duelists back to their own teams.

In shorthand (my attempt at making this humorous as well as educational...):

Metatron: Welcome to the arena!
Lucifer: Woohoo!
Sandalphon: Tohru, Yako, choose your weapons. *weapons morph into Sock'em Boppers*
Tohru: OMG!
Yako: WTF!
Sandalphon: BBQ? These are the rules: *insert rules here*. And begin!
Tohru and Yako: *post for however long is required*
Sandalphon: Okay, winner is _____!
Metatron: Let's go home!
Lucifer: Woohoo!

And that's how it works! On a related note, I'll be working for a few of the days during the trials, so I'll be a bit late in having Sandalphon respond to the threads posted on Friday, Saturday, and Tuesday, (and...Wednesday, maybe? I can't remember the days now!). Not too long! Work's just a couple hours.

Edit: Oh, and! If your character would prefer to use magick or powers or some weapon they themselves have brought to the tournament, the character can just refuse to accept a weapon in their post. (For instance, if Vader brings his light saber and doesn't want to take any other weapon, he can refuse and Sandalphon will acknowledge it.)

So Reno has an assignment to get a sample of hair from somebody else in Asgard (since he did such a good job of getting some off of Maria... heh). Who wants to plot with me?

And no, I have no idea what that icon has to do with this post. I just hadn't used it yet.

Sooo. I'm stupid and didn't ask this beforehand, but would anyone like to RP with Aji in the thread I set up with him going outside Asgard and in the maze?
