How long have you been online journaling? Since 2002 on IJ and since 2011 on DW.
Why do you like online journaling? Place to vent without bias. Enjoy making friends from all walks of life and commenting.
What are some of your hobbies? Thrifting, listening to music, graphic design, playing board (and some video) games, and spending time with friends.

Favorite bands/artists: Imagine Dragons, Sia, System of a Down, The Score, Muse, Chevelle, Seether, Red, etc. I like too many to list!
Favorite TV shows: Downtown Abbey, CSI: Las Vegas (with Gil!), Call the Midwife, & currently watching SuperNatural for the first time. I enjoy drama, horror, and fantasy type shows.
Favorite movies: Flatliners, The Princess Bride, Lord of the Rings, Twister, and several others.
Favorite books: I'm boring here--haven't read much in awhile. S. Covey's The 7 Habits was a good read, but not necessarily a fun one. I read the Twilight series years ago which was enjoyable, but the movies ruined them. LOL
Other fandoms: Not my thing.

Is your journal friends only, partial or public?: friends only due to content. I prefer it to stay private.
How often do you update?: 2-3 per month; trying to update more often.
What do you want in an IJ friend?: Someone who comments and can form friendships with regardless of views. Support is good.

Name: I go by Michael on here (not my birth name and I have a different "main" chosen name- it's kind of complicated)

Do you have any pets? No, but I'd like to get a dog and a cat once I move
How long have you been online journaling? I only made this account on/around May 1st, but I've been talking about my life online various times for a while.
Why do you like online journaling? I like online journaling because I am a seasoned and professional complainer and I thought "why not have an audience who can complain with me?"
What are some of your hobbies? Some things I like are sewing, going for walks (in my hallway mainly lol), singing, and playing games such as GTA 5/Online/Vice City, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Minecraft, Roblox, and Farcry 6.
Favorite bands/artists: Literally everything. Might drop my playlist at some point.
Favorite TV shows: I barely watch TV anymore but wow wow wubbzy slapped as a kid
Favorite movies: I don't have the attention span but I do enjoy movies that are so bad they're good.
Favorite books: My reading comprehension is really shit and I think I have dyslexia so reading has been a struggle for me but I had to read the great gatsby for school and it was honestly amazing

Is your journal friends only, partial or public?: My journal is public to everyone, if something happens in my life I want ALL OF YOU to see it.
How often do you update?: I'll try to update once every week or two, but I can't make any definitive promises.
What do you want in an IJ friend?: Anyone really, seems nearly impossible to like... find people on here? Without being in asylums at least, idk...
Any closing words/quotes/pictures/gifs/anything else you'd like to add: I'm autistic, ADHD, trans and omnisexual and I write often about those topics (mainly the disabilities since they've been coming up a lot in my life as of late.) I hope that by sharing my experiences as being disabled and lgbt that I could bring a sense of community or relatability to others like me

Why do you like online journaling? Enjoy writing and venting, enjoy making friends from all different perspectives and reading about their lives.
What are some of your hobbies? Dog stuff, exercising, board games, social hour with friends, and writing.

Favorite bands/artists: Anything country. I'm not a huge fan of new hip hop because it's all remade, but I'll listen to the 90's any day of the week.
Favorite TV shows: House is an all time fav, but currently watching NCIS.
Favorite movies: This is a hard one, I don't watch many movies.

Occupation: NEET. This is due to a lot of health issues I am taking care of, but prior to this I worked 12 years in senior living.

Do you have any pets? I have a cat named Skadi who was rescued during an ice storm. She's the first pet I've had since 2005 so I have been enjoying her company and spoiling her rotten.
How long have you been online journaling? Since 2000. I am an Internet Old.
Why do you like online journaling? Because it remains one of the few primarily text based spaces online and generally comes with excellent curation tools so I can control what I see.
What are some of your hobbies? Gaming. Journaling. Coding, but from like 2004. Ita bags/boards and making neat frames filled with acrylic charms. Writing. Scrapbooking. Organizing planners. Graphic design. Trading card games. Honestly, I fall in love with a hobby and devote myself to it for a little while before finding something else to do as I like to keep busy.

Other fandoms: Anime (some older things, some newer things: it's hard to actually make a list of them). Adoptables. Digimon. Pokemon. I like to collect cherry blossom themed Starbucks cups. I don't really "fandom" so much as I'm a fan and enjoy things in my own way.

Favorite video games: Fire Emblem. Warcraft. Final Fantasy (my favorites in order are: 4, 8, 6, 16, 14). Ace Attorney. Obscure visual novels. Cozy farm sims as of late.

Is your journal friends only, partial or public?: Friends Only since the start.
How often do you update?: Daily, unless I am unwell to which I might not post an update for a couple weeks. I'm probably the most active person on anyone's friends list though. Not so much on InsaneJournal since my friends list is small here, but perhaps this year it'll grow ♥
What do you want in an IJ friend?: Folks to interact with. This journal looks dead because no one I personally know has used InsaneJournal since 2007. This is changing though since I have two whole new buds that post here. Almost everything I post is cross posted from Dreamwidth these days though I would like to change that since I'm constantly on the site for other reasons (support, in case it's not quite so obvious).
Any closing words/quotes/pictures/gifs/anything else you'd like to add: I edited the form slightly for my preferences (I'm not a movie/television show kind of person even if I watch a lot!) and if you want a better gauge of the kind of person I am, you can check out my few public spaces online: bsky and status.cafe. I also have a piclog if that sort of thing interests you. Last, but not least, my listography might offer a look inside my ~twisted mind~ as they say. These are the only "previews" I have into the kind of person I am, sorry it's not anything better.

Occupation: Currently unemployed, but I worked in retail for 3 years before early January (I quit).

How long have you been online journaling?: I lurked Livejournal and had whiny teenager accounts with no one added throughout the 2000s but was only active in 2010-2011 before everyone migrated to Facebook and Tumblr. I started again last fall and dusted off my Dreamwidth earlier this year since being unemployed is giving me 5x more free time.

What are some of your hobbies?: Drawing, HTML/CSS (my website is here - other "indie web" people welcome!), reading (99% non-fiction), etc. Need to get back on the saddle of working on original character content.

Other fandoms: I'm not really into "fandom" or things like fanfic/roleplay/shipping etc. anymore (although I do like reading reviews or other people's opinions/interpretations of things) but My Little Pony, Neopets, and Fire Emblem come up often. (My IJ username is Pokemon-related but I don't play or watch the anime anymore, but I'm capable of holding a conversation about it.)

Is your journal friends only, partial or public?: Public
How often do you update?: I mostly blog on my own website because it's more comfortable, but I try to update journal websites at least once a month and use my accounts for reading other journals and communities. I prioritize Dreamwidth and I'm more likely to subscribe to someone there because it's more active, but I automatically cross-post and am interested to see who is active here in general.

Any closing words/quotes/pictures/gifs/anything else you'd like to add: 18+ followers only and I tend to be close friends with people 20+ (25-30s preferable, open to 40+ too), sorry! I don't post NSFW thing a lot but I prefer to have an adult audience/space anyway.
