Interesting. The more he learned about the Moroi, the more they puzzled him. He did not understand mortal vampires. There were many breeds of vampire but all had one thing in common. They were all dead. He wondered if death was what bred power. But while the Moroi didn't have typical vampiric strength and speed they had magic, almost like witches. Eric fucking hated witches.
"There are more creatures in this world than vampires and humans, that are not so easily explained. You are one of them," Eric pointed out. There were plenty of other supernaturals. Werewolves, shapeshifters, faeries, maenads. And those were just the ones that Eric Northman was aware of. He was certain that there were more and he was learning about more every day that he spent in Everett. He was starting to appreciate his decision to follow Tara north from Texas.
"Katherine's humans are part of her business. They have protection in her home as they would in this home. At Fangtasia we had a strict no biting policy but... what humans and vampires chose to do in alleys and restrooms well..." Eric shrugged. It mattered little to him. There was always some little girl or boy who wanted to find out what it was like to play with the big bad vampire and Eric was always happy to oblige.
"So who do you feed on exactly? I'm sure a deal could be worked out with Katherine if you wish to feed on her... employees." It was a nice way of saying whores. Adrian might enjoy them more than Jill on second thought.
