"Passing as human was necessary once upon a time, but here some of the other stuff wouldn't be so bad." The zombies didn't want to eat him, but they could be a pain in the ass. Plus, the last couple of months proved that zombies weren't the only threat to them out there. And Jill might have been content with her water magic, but there times when Adrian wondered what he'd be like without the spirit. Maybe he'd still feel half crazy sometimes, who knew.
Adrian's eyes danced a bit when Jill's voice turned quiet. She gave him her plan and he smirked. See, he was teaching her well. He couldn't help but laugh aloud at the thought of Lissa's reaction to the vamp sheriff. The guy had a certain way about him that Adrian could appreciate, but he doubted that Lissa would find him quiet as impressive as he thought himself to be.
"It's a good thing Christian is right there too because personally I'm looking forward to catching his reaction. Let's hope he keeps his fire balls to himself. We are in a room full of vampires."
