Who: Scott, Destiny and Stiles
What: Scott finds out about his ~true~ alphaness
When: Today
Where: Destiny's cabin
Warnings: Keep your hands to yourself, lady
Everything seemed to quiet down. Allison had left the prison for a few days, which he didn't mind. He didn't want her to be surrounded with so much negative. It was like every choice she made she was being punished for it and Scott hated it. He hated seeing her like this. Above all else, Allison would always come first. His feelings for her outweighed what he was, or what he could be. And he knew what that meant. It meant exactly everything that Stiles said. Because he did put everyone else in danger. But it wasn't intentional. It was never like that and it never would be like that.
The last thing he wanted was for his friends to get hurt, or to be caught wide open so Kate could get them. Never. And it wasn't even just helping Kate, it was what came after for them. When they were both caught. Erica saw it again, so did Boyd and Allison and ... it wasn't a rage, he didn't feel different, but maybe that's what it was. The difference in him since he died and came back. It was all so confusing and he talked to Stiles about it and talked to Allison about it, but who he really wanted to talk to about it - he couldn't. He wasn't speaking to Derek at the moment when he was the only person he wanted to talk to about it. Which wasn't alpha-y of him in the least bit. He wasn't like Derek and Peter - if that's even what this was. He still wasn't convinced. It was just some side effect or something, right?
Scott knew that Destiny had helped Isaac, or she was helping him. Isaac said it was working and he also knew that Destiny could probably help him too. He didn't know how, but anything at this point would have been helpful right? Stiles didn't have all the answers and neither did Allison. And Scott didn't.
So today was the day he was going to go and see Destiny so he could figure out what was really going on. Today he felt fine, he didn't feel it beneath his fingertips, that small cry for rage from the monster underneath. Because that's what it was right? A monster that was growing inside of him from the sacrifice. Allison felt different, Stiles did too, this was Scott's. This was his punishment, curse - whatever it was. He just wanted to know more about it.
Allison had a shift today, which worked out because Scott didn't want her to go. And not because he didn't want her to go, but because he was so unsure about everything. He didn't know what was going to happen to him, or how it would effect him, so he told Stiles about it, and Stiles said he'd go. Besides Allison, Stiles was always his constant, he was always there and Scott wanted him there. They'd been through so much that this wouldn't have been that big of a stretch right?
Once they were signed out, the trip over was uneventful. Small talk for the most part because even out in the wilderness that seemed to be out in the middle of nowhere, they still had to watch what they said, especially with Kate out there. Or Kol. Kol. At that thought, Scott felt a spurt of anger rush through him and he glanced down at his hands, but nothing changed. He just felt it. So weird.
Coming up to her cabin wasn't hard and he hesitated for a second before finally getting over it and just knocking. Here went nothing.
