Vampires weren't known for their altruism, that was for sure. Julie didn't expect many of them to hand over their blood without something in return and what Meredith was talking about was extremely dangerous. Of course danger was right up Julie's alley but she didn't want to see the project's one doctor mauled to death by a vampire who couldn't control themselves.
"Meredith, that's insanely stupid and crazy and absolutely something I would do," Julie mused as she reclined in her chair and took another sip of her tea. She couldn't really condemn Meredith for acting the exact same way that she would act herself. "But if you die we're out our only doctor," she pointed out. She supposed the same could be said for Julie. If she died the projects would be out it's one social worker. But Julie's job was a lot easier to learn and Julie wasn't out making bargains with her blood.
"There has to be a better way to get their blood," Julie said as she leaned back a little bit more and let her thoughts drift a little bit. She was only acquainted with the vampire population because she lived among them. They tended to avoid her and the services she could provide which suited her well although she would be happy to help any of the vampires in the projects with anything they needed too.
"This is a really exciting thing. The people here will finally have adequate health care. Which means we need you alive to provide it." Then again Julie wasn't sure she wanted to volunteer to swap blood with vampires. She sighed. "Maybe we can get Dante or one of the other vampires to spot you. That way they can intervene if anything goes wrong?"
