Who: Rogue and Connor
What: Rogue wants some company out of the prison
When: Evening, little before the sunset.
Where: Church
Warnings: I don't think so
Rogue was glad that Connor agreed to spend some time with her especially when he offered to take them out of the prison and over to the church. She wasn't a religious person, not really, but she could still appreciate the beauty of churches that would be made all the better being away from everyone else. She still wanted to be there and live with the friends she'd made since the virus outbreak but lately, she'd been feeling a little more tired than usual and like her skin was far too tight. It was something that always happened after she touched someone but usually it only lasted for a few days, a week at the most. This time, though, it persisted and didn't seem to lesson even as the days dragged on. She thought it might have to do with the other virus spreading and everything that had come with it. The prison break, Lorna getting infected, and Logan stalking outside just as vulnerable as the rest of them. All of that amounted to a lot of stress, so much more than she was used to and she'd seen her fair share of shit hitting the fan in her short lifetime.
She was trying her best to keep herself together and it was working. There were some nights that were blissfully dream free and she took that as a sign of hope that things would get back to the way they were. She just had to tough it out until a cure was found and things could go back to normal, well as normal as it could be in Everett.
She let out a small breath and shook her worries away as she made her way to the front gate. Rogue didn't intend to dump any of her concerns on Connor. She wanted to enjoy herself, and Connor along with his brother had always had a knack for cheering her up, even when she shook her head at their antics. It was hard to be anything but amused when in their presence and she kind of needed that right now. It wasn't long before she walked up to him and offered him a grin. "Hey, I'm ready to go if you are." She quickly signed them out, she was actually going to stick her buddy this time around so hopefully it would be smooth sailing on the walk over to the church.
