In his time, Bruce definitely had better ideas than agreeing to have a one on one chit chat with Loki. It was an absolutely horrible idea. Bruce didn't really perceive Thor's ornery little brother as a personal threat anymore, especially after the remorse he showed after pulling off his latest unappreciated prank. If this whole encounter proved to be a horrible idea, that would have been Bruce's first mistake. Either way, at least he knew it wouldn't be his last. If the worst happened and Bruce did happen to become infected, that would be another problem entirely, and there certainly wasn't any comfort to be found in wishful thinking.
As a matter of fact, wondering if Coulson had any tricks or contingency plans up his sleeve should such an event happen somehow managed to have the exact opposite effect. As if the thought of getting sick could get any more unappealing. Who knew, though. Maybe Loki was remorseful enough to offer a helping hand. He had to try and find out, right?
Having found his way to the clearing easily, Bruce parked the car just outside of it before climbing out and approaching Loki, who was right on time. A punctual prankster.. there was definitely some humor in there.
"I can't stay for too long." He explained evenly, rubbing his hands together anxiously as he took in his surroundings once more. "Work to do.. and all that." Okay, maybe Loki didn't.. it was a figure of speech. With an exhausted sigh and a tight Bruce dropped his hands to the side and looked evenly at Loki, awaiting some kind of explanation that covered why they were meeting. "So, you called?"
