"Gee, thanks. It's good to you too, Santana," Quinn said sarcastically. But she eagerly reached for the Cheerios jacket and slipped into it. She had lost her jacket awhile ago. After graduation there didn't really seem a need for it at Yale so she had put it in her closet with everything else that reminded her of high school. It was comforting though and she felt a little bit more like herself in it.
It really was good to see a friendly face. It had been so long since she had seen anyone from Lima. For one terrifying moment she thought she was going to hug Santana. It was no secret that Santana and Quinn had been rivals from the start until the end of high school. Santana and Brittany were thick as thieves but Quinn stuck to herself. All of that fighting over Puck seemed silly now. Although she had gone to California to try and find him, she wasn't going to share that information with Santana even if she was a lesbian now.
She wrapped the jacket tightly around her thin frame hunching against the wind as she followed Santana back to this prison of hers. It was cold in Ohio too so it wasn't as if Quinn was a stranger to the cold but she wasn't exactly dressed for it. She should have dragged more of her stuff out of the broken down truck but on foot it would be a pain to carry it all with her.
"Nice piece," she said as she nodded towards the gun that Santana carried with her. Quinn wasn't a big fan of guns but they had their place in this world and she understood that.
