She felt it last night. It was like a call to her, she felt compelled to be near it. She couldn't even explain it but a lot of things in Quinn Fabray's life had become completely inexplicable. There were the zombies, for one. Total world order collapsed essentially sending the entire world back to the wild west. Then there had been the water, all that water and the wings. There had been that guy, Demeter, if she even believed that was who he was.
So being drawn to something she didn't understand? It didn't really seem that strange. For the first time in a very long time she had actual reception on her cellphone. Finding the network had seemed too good to be true as Quinn not only educated herself on the workings of Everett but discovered so many of her friends had ended up here. Had they been drawn here too?
It was cold and she had been walking for awhile after her truck got a flat tire thirty miles down the road. Flying might have gotten her there faster but she only did that when there was absolutely no other choice. That was an escape route only.
She pulled her sweater tighter around her as the drizzle made her silky blonde hair frizz around the ears. Nothing like her tight ponytail. Sue Sylvester would have been so disappointed. Sitting on her suitcase on the side of the road she would have looked like the cover of a movie with all of the dead shuffling around her.
"Come on, Santana." She stared at her phone as if she could use it to will Santana into appearing. She shivered and sighed as she looked up at the road waiting for her friend to arrive.
