"You think she wouldn't mind sharing the spotlight?" Rogue didn't know much about musicals beyond the really popular ones like Grease or The Sound of Music but her mom had really loved Judy Garland so she knew who Liza Minnelli was. Although she couldn't go into detail about her aside from her being a singer and that she was Judy's daughter.
She looked a little sheepish at the admittance but wasn't too embarrassed about it. She had looked pretty darn cute in her pink dress and matching glittery wings and tiara if she said so herself. Though, of course, she wouldn't be caught dead in that outfit now. "Great, I was hoping you'd say that."
Rogue lifted her arms for him and looked pleased when he approved of the gloves. She may not have been wearing a pair now, but she had grown to like and appreciate all the different styles they came in. She wasn't one to pay too much attention to fashion but that didn't mean she didn't like looking good with matching accessories. "I can show them to you when we're done with the measurements, I have a pretty extensive collection." She glanced over at the end of her bed where she kept her duffle bag, not really paying attention to how close Kurt needed to be in order to measure her correctly.
Her arms dropped down when he moved to take down the numbers and Rogue bit the inside of her cheek. "Um, alright. You can probably tell that I'm somewhere from the South, Mississippi specifically but I haven't been there for years, since I was fifteen. I was actually living in New York and going to school there when the virus broke out. The place was gorgeous and full of people like me." She thoughtlessly ran her fingers through the white streak in her hair. "And by that I mean mutants." The prison was full of accepting people but a small part of her would always be weary, just waiting for someone's face to fall at the admission.
