No, Logan would never admit that he was moping - he would scoff and possibly growl at the idea, but maybe there was a possibility that he was feeling the guilt of his own mistake. Because he shouldn't have left the girls alone. Laura was more than capable of taking care of herself and Emily, he knew that and he would always know that, but Logan would always want to protect them both, anyway. He would always feel responsible for the two of them, and the fact that the whole incident happened in his cabin left a sense of his own guilt weighing him down.
Rogue really did know him a little too well but, then again, that wasn't surprising considering how long ago they had met, and how much they had gone through together.
Listening to her, he felt some sense of relief to hear that she was doing okay and that she was adjusting so well to living in the prison. Logan would never be able to live surrounded by that many people, he was made for the outdoors and roaming wherever the hell he wanted, but Rogue would be safe there. He had to believe that, otherwise he would be tempted to storm in there and pull her out immediately.
"I've helped out the prison before, but never really...been in here for long. That's good, that you're okay here, kid. But if that ever changes, you tell me, alright?" Because Logan wouldn't have a problem in slicing and dicing his way in to beat the crap out of anyone that made her feel unwelcome. "So you're hangin' out here in Everett for a while, then? Not just passing through, right?"
