Logan smiled when she said she felt mostly grown up. It was easy to remember the first time he had met her, and the way she used to be, but it was obvious she had really grown up so damn much. Getting separated from everyone else at the school had left him concerned for them after the outbreak. Zombies rarely bothered Logan, especially because it was so easy for him to dispose of them, but it was a different story with everyone else. For so long he had kept wondering what had happened to the rest of the team, to the rest of the kids, and right now he was just glad that he could see Rogue again. The kid was a survivor, he had known that from day one, and he was glad she was in Everett now.
The suggestion for a walk was agreed to immediately. While Logan wasn't a fan of staying inside the prison, he did appreciate what they did for the rest of the survivors that lived there. Especially now, that Rogue lived there as well. He didn't like the fences, or the way it made him feel trapped, but as they walked, he saw it as something else. The fences were enough to keep Rogue safe, and that was what mattered. "If you ever need to get out of here for a bit, you let me know, alright?" He was serious, too, and he turned to face her so she could see that. He didn't know about her run in with the group of zombies that had chased her, but Logan knew teenagers. He knew the temptation to be out solo and prove that they could take care of themselves, and after what had happened to Emily, he refused to let Rogue go through that as well. "I know they have the whole...buddy rule thing, so if you need someone to go out with you, you let me know. Got it?"
The question about how he was made him shrug casually, his focus turning back to the yard as they continued their walk. "I'm good." His response was probably not very convincing, but there was nothing wrong with him, so he wasn't exactly lying, anyway.
