"My standby batteries are only good for a few days." She touched the center of her chest. "But I won't have to worry about refueling my microfusion reactor for 300 or so years."
"Thank you." Cameron nodded. "As you can probably guess, it's easy for me to dance a routine the same way every time. Directors like that."
"No promises. I'll have to ask Tony Stark if I can use his shop or build one myself. That will take some time. I don't think he likes me much. We had a short affair when I was still in New York. When I got here and he found out what I am I think it bothered him."
She laughed softly. "Selene can still hear you." The woman in black nodded again, and there was a small smile on her face. "There are all sorts of different vampires here. Some of them can't come out in the daylight. Some of them have special rings that let them. You'll run in to those that live here sooner or later. All different sorts of werewolves, too."
