"Nope, I'm pretty sure no one mentioned a cyborg living inside a prison." That was definitely something she'd remember hearing about. Especially since Cameron was from the future, holy shit. "Do you feel weird being cut off from your timeline?" Could she even feel? She'd smiled easily enough and seemed fairly advanced, maybe she did have feelings programmed into her. It wasn't that farfetched in a zombie apocalypse.
Rogue had figured as much and sighed. "Thanks." She spent nearly the last two years tinkering with her ability, it wasn't difficult when there were so many people willing to try to hurt her for the things she carried, and she hadn't had any success with stopping the flow of energy or even changing up the speed she absorbed it. The closest she got was figuring out that the bigger the area of skin she touched, the faster her powers let her take in energy.
"By all means, take your time. I'm not going anywhere anytime soon." Rogue glanced over the gate and scanned the area, she couldn't let herself get too distracted. "I have, before the virus broke out. I used to go to a school for mutants but their powers didn't really sound as though they worked like mine. The closest were the mutants with physical mutations and you can't really stop having blue skin or scales whenever you want." Unless you were Mystique but she was an exception being a shapshifter.
