Rogue blinked at Cameron. The first thing that came to mind was vampires but she'd never heard of any that were able to walk around in the sun. Nor of any who's eyes glowed blue like that. Huh. "Installed? Do you mean like a machine?" That was certainly new and while her old school had sophisticated technology, it wasn't comparable to Cameron except for the Danger Room maybe. Either way, it was way beyond her scope of expertise when she only had a high school diploma, though it didn't make it any less cool.
Normally, she would have flinched back but knowing that Cameron technically wasn't alive, she allowed the touch to her shoulder. There was a small crease of worry between her eyebrows when she felt the familiar sensation of absorption start up but as quick as it had come, it was gone. A wide smile of joy spread across her lips. That was the second person within the prison that was immune to her touch and even against her better judgement, it made a small spark of hope flare up within her. If two people were immune, there could be more and if not, at least she now knew the ones she could freely touch and never hurt.
She grinned brightly at Cameron. "Thanks for the heads up, I'll look into going there after my shift is over." She bit her lip in thought, not really minding the scan.It had been quick and painless and the results could be interesting to hear. "You're welcome. If you find anything there about the possibility of gaining control of my ability, will you let me know?" She had no idea if Cameron's scan was capable of producing that answer but she had to ask. If there was even the slightest chance she could learn to shut off her powers when she didn't need them, then she wanted to know.
