Cameron's easy acceptance of Rogue's ability brightened the look in her eyes. Though it seemed like Cam wasn't exactly human herself since it sounded like she didn't include herself among them. There was a multitude of possibilities of what Cam could be and Rogue was eager to learn what that was.
"I'm a mutant," she confirmed for the girl. "And my skin absorbs life energy. The longer I hold on, the more damage I can cause. If I held on long enough, and that's not as long as I'd like, my touch is fatal." Her lips turned down into a frown. There were a few times she'd had to go to that extreme and it was never an easy decision. Even now, she'd hesitate to hold onto a Leviathan long enough to find out if she could actually kill them that way. Not because she thought that they deserved to live but because she was afraid of the side affects and what would happen to her if she absorbed that much energy from such a powerful being.
"Um, it's not going to hurt is it?" She'd never analysed any part of her body, not even her own blood.
