Who: Derek, Lydia, and later on a special appearance by someone from Derek's past
What: Checking up on Lydia, and reunions of sorts
Where: The prison, at one of the towers
When: Tonight
Warnings: Explosive tempers ahoy
Even if Derek still didn't quite know how the love spell was suddenly gone, he didn't really care. The prison was slowly going back to normal, and that was all that mattered. Scott and Allison were no longer talking crazy, and the rest of the group no longer had to keep guard so that they wouldn't find some way to put themselves in danger. It was obvious no one had been rational or thinking clearly as they 'fell in love,' and Derek was just glad that it hadn't gotten too out of control. Although, Allison possibly being turned into a vampire? That definitely would have changed things quite a bit.
For someone that tried to keep himself as distanced from people as possible, looking after those from Beacon Hills after his return was a duty that he wasn't taking lightly. It was probably taking people by surprise, especially after his previous breaks from the prison, but this time it was different. All of those from Beacon Hills were his pack, and even if they had their days when they did not see eye to eye on many things, he was beginning to take his responsibilities as the alpha very seriously. It helped that he had his sister back, even if it was just in ghost form. Even the breaks from the prison had helped. Laura was right, if they were to survive, sticking together was expected. Necessary, even, and he was trying to do his part.
It was for that reason that he headed out to the towers once he realized that he hadn't seen Lydia around since their last encounter after she and Stiles had locked up Allison in a cell. It was hard to tell if this one would go over much better, but it wasn't enough to deter Derek from following her scent up to the tower where she was keeping guard. He wasn't one to be easily intimidated and, as much as Lydia irritated and downright pissed him off, she didn't intimidate him. And, if someone had the temperament to deal with Lydia Martin, it was Derek Hale.
Taking the stairs two at a time with ease, he quickly made it up and leaned up against the rail as he crossed his arms. Lydia seemed busy aiming at a zombie through the darkness, so he waited for her to shoot before he spoke. "Allison seems to be back to normal. Scott, too. How much longer are you going to stay out here?"
