What: Flirting and stuff
When: Friday, June 21st
Where: The cafeteria
Warnings: Probably not
Sometimes Emily was confident and knew exactly what she wanted and other times she was a little more shy and tiptoed around people for fear that she would embarrass herself or scare they away. She'd been shy around Alison in the beginning and didn't let on about her feelings. Her best friend had figured it out of course and later toyed with her because of it. At the time Emily didn't care enough because in those moments when she and Ali were alone, it felt real and she felt connected to her more so than to any other person she knew.
Her other relationships were a mix of the two. She didn't struggle with self awareness and confidence in who she was anymore, but there were times she didn't want to be too bold. She'd been that way with Laura in the beginning, but Laura was so much different than anyone else she'd ever known. It hadn't started out as a romantic relationship, but a much needed friendship at the time that somehow developed into something a little more. It was new for both of them and they were still learning.
Laura was the last person on her mind while Emily sat in the cafeteria with Hanna, Aria, and Spencer. She'd been watching Robin the entire time. The way she laughed, pushed a stray strand of hair behind her ear, and she was close enough to pick up on the tone of her voice. Emily had seen her in her tower the day before and ever since Robin was all she could think of. It was so unlike her to fall for someone so quickly, but she knew that she and Robin were the real deal.
Her other friends left the table and Emily stayed behind on purpose. She was waiting for Robin's friend to leave and when he did, Emily made her move. Taking her tray with her, she didn't waste time getting up and quickly sliding into the chair across from Robin.
With a sweet smile, she batted her eyes a little at her. There wasn't going to be any secret in how Emily felt for her by the time they both left the table. Preferably together.
"Hi. How was your lunch?"
