Josh was beginning to feel more and more cornered by the second. He felt his hand raise to his mouth like he was going to nibble on his finger nails again. A bad habit he really needed to break. Was he worried? of course he was. He forced his hand away from his face, holding it awkwardly before deciding to put it on his lap and take another drink...a much longer one.
He may as well be honest with her, this was a barter and he had agreed. Even if he didn't know what he was agreeing to at the time. He couldn't help but lean forward though, hissing out a whisper quickly "Of course i'm worried!" he looked around to see if anyone was paying attention to them (often times his paranoia drew more attention than anything being said).
"I don't want anyone to know. And I don't want any...accidents." he huffed a big sigh. "You just don't understand, I don't have any control over the wolf. It just...tries to kill people. There's nothing good about it. At all. I don't want everyone to know i'm a monster because I can't blame them if they don't feel safe. They shouldn't." Plus he'd gotten into a lot of trouble over being a wolf, with vampires especially that viewed wolves as worthless dogs to be used and abused for their entertainment.
Once he broke with his information he really did vent it all out. Something about his anger made him trigger happy, all it took was pushing the right button. Alana had found that button.
