Rebekah knew she was selfish. She was a selfish brat, that's what they all said about her including her brothers. Rebekah had her charms but she could be an awful brat and only think about herself. Every word he said cut into her because she knew that he was right. She had asked him to choose and he chose her. He had turned his back on the prison and become public enemy number one while she still went out of her way to help Shannon and Neal who were part of the prison. Neal had been part of everything that had happened to her.
She followed him swiftly into the bedroom and watched as he started to pack a bag. "Fine. You want the truth?" she shouted at him. "I have compelled you. Are you happy? When we first met I compelled you all of the time. I didn't know you."
Her voice had lowered considerably as she walked towards him. She wouldn't lie to him even if she had never admitted it before. She wasn't a good girl, never had been never would be even if she tried. She didn't know how. And last she checked Alec liked the bad girls. He was no angel either.
"I swear to you I haven't compelled you in months. Not since you dug me out of the ground. I didn't know how much you loved me or if you even did. You don't exactly express yourself very often. But when you took on the prison for me I knew that you loved me. I didn't compel you to do that."
