She laughed at the imagine he had in his head of who really worked in the kitchen. "No sir! Woman my age and older work in the kitchen. Somehow all of our skills work together well to create the best meals we can in a prison kitchen during the apocalypse" She told him, an amused look on her face as she realized what she said. That was something she never thought she'd say. "That sounds so weird and yet so natural, doesn't it?" She commented, speaking her thoughts about she said out loud.
"A non-date date" She corrected him as she held up her hand to show off her wedding ring. She fell in love with it the second she saw it in the store they went to shortly after they got married. She smiled when he said he was joking and she lowered her hand as she looked around. They could probably get away with leaving for a little bit because the place didn't seem too busy. They probably wouldn't miss them. "I can definitely do that. Let's get out of here. It's break time" She announced as she turned and headed for the doors to leave. She looked over her shoulder to make sure he was following her. She stopped and waited for him then she continued on to walk beside him. "I practically grew up in a kitchen. My dad owned a diner where I'm from"
