Glory had been out walking. Between her recent battle with the two Norse fellows and dealing with Sesshy, she'd been a little weakened. Not that she would admit anything resembling that to anyone (and just who would she be talking to if she did?), but she was feeling a little off her game. Oddly enough, she was out getting some exercise. She had laid low the last few weeks while conserving her energy, but a Hellgod could only stay inside for so long, even if the outside was just plain old Everett.
When she heard Gunn and Angel talking nearby, she stilled, listening in for a few moments. Well, that was some interesting information to find out. The leader of the prison, the other Slayer, had ran off, thinking they were doomed. Not that it would do her a whole lot of good, but she couldn't blame Faith for doing that. Wasn't that funny?
She crept along, continuing to listen. Even Glory could force herself to be stealthy for a little while. Still, she was getting bored with that quickly. Erin was supposed to be her information gatherer. She just got twitchy if she hung around for too long and tried to lay low.
"And just what fun would it be if I told you when the ritual was?" she asked, coming out from behind a cluster of trees to look at the two of them. "Come on, don't you guys like surprises? I hear humans like those sometimes." She looked at Angel. "Well, you're mostly human. Human enough." She didn't realize that, to Angel, that might almost be a compliment. She certainly didn't mean it as such.
Only a few in this realm had managed to garner anything but contempt from the great and powerful Glorificus, after all. Vampires just weren't one group that had pulled that off.
