Gunn just evened a glare at Angel when he said it wasn't all of his information to tell. Fuck that. They were friends, worked on the same team. As far as Gunn was concerned, his loyalty was still to Angel even if he wasn't part of the prison or their leadership system. Gunn would tow the line for The Council and Faith and whatever he needed to do but at the end of the day he would look to Angel.
He took a deep breath when Angel said that Dawn was the key. He'd had his suspicions about that honestly. Seemed weird to him that suddenly Buffy was in the prison and everyone hovered around Dawn who seemed to disappear intermittently to where? Gunn had no idea. Because nobody told him anything. He wasn't going to stay at the prison blind forever. He expected to be cut in on the information.
"So we need to find a way to ice this bitch before she gets her hands on Dawn. Got it." That explained why the prison was amping up its security and not just because a vampire had kidnapped a blonde from it. But because the hellbitch wanted her key and the key was inside the prison.
"What about this weapon that Faith's looking for. Is that bullshit or does she really have something?" He gave Angel another look. "You know everything you tell me ain't gettin' told to nobody else."
