Captain Rogers and Thor saw Stark be taken into the monster's grasp at the same time. Steve immediately went on the straight on attack and Thor went about with another lightening round. It would not defeat thd creature but perhaps startle it enough to give the Iron Man to get away. The diversion was successful and Thor ran to where he saw him fall from the sky. He was careful to notice where the creature was and that it was not continuing to pursue them while they regrouped.
"Yes, you look 'fine' as you humans tend to say." He didn't look fine to Thor - far from it, in fact. The suit was crushed and banged up from the falls he'd suffered. It reminded him of his own fight not long ago with Glorificus and the sudden memory caused him to feel anger.
Steve offered Tony a hand and helped him to his feet. The three of them watched the monster thwart each attacker that tried to confront it with ease. "That isn't... It would be impossible for the Other Guy to be infected, right?"
Thor gazed intently at the beast. Was this indeed Dr. Banner? He had disappeared weeks earlier without a trace, but this did not strike him as the doctor. He shook his head and Tony seemed to agree with him that this wasn't Bruce at all but some other version of one of these zombie creatures.
"Perhaps this is another strain of the virus, a mutation of some sort." Tony and Bruce were the two brains of their group, so Thor did not have an good guess. "Nevertheless, we must fall back. Stark is in no condition for battle. The suit requires attention I cannot provide with energy."
The other fighters were holding the creature back seemingly as best they could with their abilities. They certainly were out in high numbers.
