While Tony knew the beast was powerful, it still took him by surprise when he saw that the strike by Thor didn't even make it stumble. It was just getting angrier, it seemed, and that thought was confirmed at the tree that was hurled in the direction of both Thor and himself. The suit was taking the brunt of the hits, but by the way the screen began flashing at certain points, he wasn't sure how long it would last if he was hit much longer.
"I'm sick of these damn things," Tony grumbled and kicked off the ground to get back in the air. He didn't think of himself as an expert in killing zombies, but fuck he was just sick of them. Zombies, demons, evil vampires - the whole lot of them.
The monster began its path of destruction again, and Tony knew if he kept going he could eventually get within throwing distance of the prison. Hell, even of the cabins that were around, so he did the best thing he could think of - shoot it to attract its attention before flying in the opposite direction to lead it away.
Or try to, because it was pretty damn fast even for his suit. Thor and Steve were fast on their own, one being a god and the other one being a super soldier, and the three managed to keep the monster engaged as they moved through the woods and away from the prison.
"Hey, Thor," he asked as he barely managed to avoid being slammed by another tree. "Think you can supercharge the suit?"
Gunfire wasn't doing any apparent damage, and neither were lightening shots or hits with the shield. Maybe combining all three would help? He could deflect a shot of energy powered by Thor onto Cap's shield and aim it at the monster. Maybe that could work?
A tree knocked him off course, though, making him stumble to the ground. The screens flashed in red even more, but as far as he could tell it was nothing serious. They had to stop it, that was all he knew and what he focused on as he got back up to his feet even if the world seemed to still tilt around him.
