They both had a fierce determination has they set about to find the missing witch. Why she would go out without telling anyone confused him. Well, she'd taken a buddy at least, but how had they managed to get separated? Honestly, didn't the prison have handcuffs it could use to prevent buddies from getting away from each other?
Of course that was the anxiety and frustration talking. Malachi wouldn't agree to that kind of privacy violation. He wasn't even one to usually walk around with someone at his side, but he could understand why the prison felt it was necessary. If Bonnie had been alone, then they may not have realized she was even missing.
"Yes, it's strong, but I can't pinpoint it. I'm not certain, but it almost feels like she doesn't want anyone to pinpoint it." He glanced at Jeremy, wondering if the other man knew something he did not. Like what would drive her out of the prison. Not that she could have predicted this storm.
"I'm going to try and get a message to her." It was the best he could do for now. Focusing hard, he reached out with his mind using his telepathy and his magic to call to he. "Bonnie, it's Malachi. I'm with Jeremy and we're tying to find you. Send me a sign." Just as he opened his eyes he saw that Jeremy had gotten rid of the zombie. "You're a good shot. I don't know if she will be able to touch my mind, but I told her to send us a sign. There's a lot of power in her. I'll feel it if she got the message and follows the request."
They walked a bit further before Malachi heard the telltale moans of zombies. Aggravated, he suddenly lashed out, pinning the two to a tree with his telekinesis. He ripped one's head off with the same ability while Jeremy took his shot on the other. "Bloody well hate those disgusting creatures. I hate to say it, Jeremy, but I think we have to consider cover soon. This is coming down harder than the winters in London."
