He had given her a lot to think about and now it was getting dark in the house. Isabel walked away from the window and looked around until she found a pack of matches and a candle. She lit it thinking that she needed it and he didn't. Vampires could see in the dark, couldn't they?
"I think I'm going to go to bed," she said. "I'm exhausted and I might as well get some sleep if it's going to snow like this." For some reason she trusted that Ezra wouldn't walk in on her and try to bite her while she was sleeping or anything. She believed him when he said he wouldn't bother her if she didn't want him to and she had made it clear she didn't want him to.
The fight with Max had exhausted her as well as the storm and hanging out with Ezra. But she had another reason to want to go off on her own. She wanted to see if she could slip into Max or Liz's dreams and let them know she was safe.
She found a bedroom upstairs and locked herself in it before collapsing on the Queen sized bed. She pulled out her phone and checked the network. It was down which was a bad sign but Isabel wasn't terribly surprised with the way the weather was right now.
She concentrated on both her brother and her sister-in-law but neither one of them were sleeping. She tried again for Michael, for Maria and Kyle but couldn't reach any of them. Were they not sleeping or were they dead? Eventually she gave up and fell asleep on top of the comforter.
