So like Superman this guy just scooped her up and carried her off. She was too shocked to actually do anything about it and by the end she actually found herself clinging to him. The wind whipped past them as he ran and finally she was on her feet, a bit dizzy as she followed him into the cabin.
"I won't freeze to death," she said in place of thank you. She knew she should have thanked him but she didn't know him. She only knew that he could rip off zombie heads and move at the speed of light. She approached him letting her hands warm to their fiery blaze before she held them up to warm his face.
She turned the heat off and retreated her hands. It was a handy power if you needed to warm up a sandwich or not freeze to death in a storm. She had seen that Christian guy wandering about and thought how nice it would be to create actual fire. She could create heat but not fire. Then again, she and Max were really just starting to discover their powers. Maybe one day she would be able to make fire. And they all had their own specialties. She couldn't heal like Max could and he couldn't dreamwalk like she could. They really had no idea what they were capable of.
"Who are you?" she repeated. "I haven't seen you around. I'm Isabel. What are you?" That was the real question that was on her mind.
