What Emily wouldn't give for a sudden body swap right then. She would introduce this guy to a new set of knives otherswise known as claws. One hard jab into his chest outta do it right? She just didn't have the strength in this body that she'd had in Laura's. For once, Emily wished she was some telepathic super person and could let Laura and Logan know where she was. This guy wouldn't stand a chance with them.
"You want Rebekah back for what? What is she to you anyway?" She didn't know much about the original vampires except that they were bad news which meant so was this guy if he hung with one of them. Like she used to "hang" with Faith. Emily wasn't cluing him in on the used to part. Then her usefulness to him would drop from useless to worthless really fast.
"The ones with the knives? No, they wouldn't have a clue and would care less than I do. Faith? I have no idea what Faith knows and what she doesn't. I didn't get to hear that kind of information and this is probably exactly one of the reasons why you're not going to find anyone who does know."
Emily's eyes scanned the room again, desperately trying to find anything she could use as a weapon. Spotting the gun left on the table, she wanted to go for it, but waited. He was watching her too closely and had way too good of an aim with that knife. Like he said... anything could happen. She didn't respond to his threat except to let some of her fear show more on her face when she lowered her gaze to the floor.
Looking up through her lashes, she saw him looking down himself and admiring the knife still in his hands. Now or nevern she thought to herself just before lunging her body in the direction of the gun and trying to grab it before he could get to her.
He got to her. Impossibly fast.
If she thought his grip was strong before it was double that now. She let out a cry when he slammed her against the wall again. This wasn't the first life or death situation Emily had ever been in, but it was the first where she felt powerless.
