Only knowing a little of Captain Rogers' story, she'd forgotten that it would be next to impossible for him to contact any of the others he knew before here. She was glad he had his friends here though. That was important. Emily had freaked out when Spencer showed up and she couldn't believe it. She'd been so happy to see her friend and it gave hope that the others were out there somewhere.
His words were cut off so fast that she frowned when she looked up at him and saw the look of shock on his face. "Captain?" He started to say something to her, but his body swayed and no amount of her tiny frame trying to catch his body was going to work and he hit the ground with a thud. "Steve!"
Emily was on her knees in the next moment and spotted the darts in his back. Gasping, she pulled them out and threw them to the ground and tried to shake him awake. He was super strong right? America's best soldier. He was going to wake up. He had to.
With a lot of effort, she tried to turn him over but a flash of something caught the corner of her eye and she looked up. She was barely able to blink when an unfamiliar face was staring coldly into hers. Jumping up from the ground, Emily backed up a few steps. She hadn't even bothered to bring a weapon for herself because she thought she was with the weapon. So much for self preservation.
"What do you want?" Her voice was laced with nerves, but she tried to keep her words firm. "What did you do to Captain Rogers?"
