Azazeal nodded. Yes, the inn was far more desirable than any other location he'd seen so far in the town of Everett. It was a miracle in itself that he was content to stay in such a place as it was, but he found that the company he had managed to keep while staying here had made up for the somewhat undesirable location. "Indeed. It is nice to get away, but I don't find it very hard to come back."
Drinking a bit more of his tea, he listened as Castiel spoke and he felt his mind drift to a time long away from where they sat. It had been years upon years since Azazeal made the choice to fall, but he did remember his days under Father's employ very well - and not all without a bit of fondness.
"Perhaps. The beauty does seem to be gone in many areas, but I suppose it's simply harder to locate. It's there, but it requires one to dig deeper to find it beneath the surface." The same wry smile appeared on his features. "Ironic coming from one of the fallen, yes?"
The time with Cassie may have been considered tranquil and beautiful, but it was also very bittersweet. He and Malachi knew that their time together was limited, but they enjoyed it as much as they could while she was able to stay.
"How has your time spent at the prison been? I know you frequent there very often." The ghosts had caused quite a stir and while it was more crowded here in the inn while the haunting was going on, he knew the prison had to be much worse. It was why Phoebe had come to stay in the first place.
