What: Catching up
Where: The prison
When: The day after everyone gets switched back to their normal bodies

Serena was a little sad to be back in her own body. Yes, she was ridiculously tall and slim and had long blonde hair and an uncanny knack for drawing attention with her looks and she understood that other people (see: Blair) saw these as unfair advantages in the world. Serena had always drawn attention for one reason or another, a constant source of contention between her and her former best friend. In Sesshomaru's body people had reacted much differently. It had been especially fun fooling Pam. Nobody knew what Sesshomaru was and so they were cautious around him. Nobody stared, everyone looked away quickly. And nobody saw someone to take advantage of, they saw a powerful and mysterious creature. Yes, Serena had enjoyed the change of pace.
The biggest perk of her own body was that Nate would come near it, very close to it in fact. He had steered clear of her during the body swap and she didn't blame him. After all, she had been a guy with a tail. While it had repelled trouble in the projects, it had also repelled her fiancé. As much fun as she'd had being Sesshomaru, she had more fun with Nate. Even if it meant being vampire bait, even if it meant living the rest of her natural life in these prison walls. Being with Nate was better than hanging out in the woods with the zombies or in the projects with all the vampires.
After her reunion with Nate and her girls night with Penny where ridiculous amount of wine has been poured, there was still one person that Serena meant to check in with. Her former stepsister was in the prison now and even though Jenny and Serena had not exactly parted on the best of terms, family was family. She wasn't even sure if Jenny counted since technically Bart had never died which meant that Lily's marriage to Rufus had been null and void. But for several years, Serena had lived with Rufus being her stepfather whether it was all legal or not. Besides, she still cared about Dan even if he hated her guts and Jenny was Dan's sister. She might be the only Humphrey left and so Serena was willing to set aside the past and look forward to the future.
With a bottle of wine in her hand she knocked on the bars to Jenny's cell. "Have time for a drink with an old friend?" she asked. Jenny wasn't old enough to drink but what did it really matter? Even before the world had ended Serena was sipping gin and tonics when she was sixteen at whatever bar would serve her and all the bars served Serena van der Woodsen.
