He was really starting to feel seriously disoriented with all this zig zag relocating going on. He stared down at the girl sleeping in the sleeping bag and he let his hand drop from his mouth. What was it about her that was so damned familiar that it kept being drawn to his attention? Up until now she was just someone who was unfortunate enough to camp out where he was all holed up.
"Why are you asking me what's going on?" He barked back at her when she demanded to know what was going on. He just tapped in to her dream so there was no way he was controlling any of this. It was impossible wasn't it? To control somebody's dream? Wasn't that exactly what had happened to Stefan and Elena though? What trapped them and made Damon save them both?
"This isn't my dream, this is yours in case you forgot. I'm just hitching a ride... somehow." He glanced around and the growling was suddenly coming from above them and both of their eyes tore to the ceiling. "We need to get downstairs, c'mon!" He took off in a run down the metal stairs and he knew she wasn't far behind him when she heard her boots slamming the same steps he just had.
He stopped at the door and was almost afraid. He'd been here safely for ten years sleeping his tormented sleep and now he was about to tear the door open and leave his prison. He didn't have much time to process that when Lucy shoved past him and swung the door open. Cold night air drifted in on both of them, a low fog was gathered all around the ground.
"This can't be." He said in a hushed tone as his eyes gazed out into the apple orchard. There was no apple orchard here but there had been one the night he'd found the Dreamwalker. He'd killed that thing in the very orchard Lucy was now rushing out into. He quickly caught up to her and gripped her arm tightly as he pulled her to a stop. "Look you really can't be here so you need to wake up!"
