Oliver sat in the darkened apartment of the woman he loved most in the world. Laurel Lance. Only hours before the closest friends of family had attended his funeral to say a final goodbye to him after Oliver had been killed in a mugging gone wrong. That was what the city was supposed to think, but his family and friends knew what had really killed him. But only John Diggle knew Oliver was still alive.

With Laurel's life in danger now, Oliver was going to protect her, which meant he was going to reveal to the woman he loved in order to keep her safe, no matter how furious she would be with him when she found out he lied.
