beck's pups: • Britannic (26) - Brian left the school for a while, shortly after the doctors discovered the cure for the Upir Virus. He traveled to Europe and spent some time assisting Colossus in Russia, though most of his time was spent rummaging through Braddock Manor and collecting records, as well as assisting his fellow English rebuild and return to a more stable state of life. He has since returned with his affairs in order and his case of cabin fever eased (as well as his longing to be reunited with his girlfriend, Jubilee). • Cyclops (37) - Shortly after the affairs involving Wolverine and Beast in the lab, Scott and Jean decided to part ways and have a 'separation'. He moved to his old room that he had shared with Hank (who was now gone again). He has been much more focused, productive and merry since the parting of ways, but still behaves as though he and Jean are friends. The blood between them had been less 'bad', more 'weird'. Things are definitely on the up and up. • Dazzler (26) - Alison has since left Xavier's, but spends most of her free time at the school. She grew quite attached to her fellow mutants and has been influenced by their charity and selflessness. She has joined with a group of fellow mutant (and human) musicians and they are all working together to help reform the music industry. The group also tours around performing in different areas and lends help hands whenever possible (building projects, passing out food, etc). There are similar groups working on rebuilding the entertainment industry as a whole - cinematographers, actors, writers, etc. • Diamond (32) - Emma Frost is now with the Black King - in more ways than one. After the death of Magneto, she took her leave from Xavier's, as did Dr. McCoy. Whomever amongst the X-Men that had decided to join them was contacted shortly after. Currently, she is rebuilding Frost International and pursuing other ventures, mostly involving the government. The Hellfire Club itself has arranged for a company to manufacture sentinels, as Emma had attained the government plans that had been residing within the walls of Xavier's. Now, Sebastian Shaw controls the anti-mutant monsters. • Karma (27) - Shan will most likely remain at Xavier's until she dies or they kick her out. She loves the school, her fellow staff, and what they stand for within the mutant and world communities. She has kept herself busy with her duties in both assisting Jean-Paul with French as well as running the library. Sometime after the Upir Virus cure was discovered, she began pursuing Wicked romantically. • Scoot (20) - Minka is now 20 years old and more than half-way through with her college courses. She is both older and wiser, having lived through quite a trying time during her adolescence. After reuniting with her mother, father and brother in Chicago, she returned to Xavier's a few months later to discover that Colossus (and Britannic, as well as a few others) had gone. Feeling lost (and more than a bit hurt), she set to developing her mutation(s) and furthering her education. Around the school, she has taken on the task of being one of the child-wranglers, as there are a whack of new mutants coming in to the school. • Storm (37) - Now a mother and wife, Storm has definitely had her hands full. Thankfully, her husband (Kurt) and fellow X-Men have all been more than willing to lend a hand with both Harmon (or "Little Kurt") and her duties around the school. She continues to teach and tend the greenhouses, and her X-Men duties have been shared more equally with Cyclops now that he is back on top of his game. She finally converted the attic of the school into an apartment and oasis of sorts for her to share with Kurt and Harmon. Harmon's mutation causes his growth and aging to be increased several times of that of a normal child/mutant. As he ages, however, it slows. It was cleared up by Mars that Harmon's mutation is/was the reason for his aging and not Storm's condition at the time of his conception and birth (Upir Virus). • Toad (33) - Ah, Morty. He has maintained his belief in the offensive tactics of pro-mutantism, despite the death of Magneto. He is a Brotherhooder, now more than ever. More to come. • Torrent (26) - Seeing little need for his services amongst the X-Men on a daily basis, Troy has set up shop ('shop' here meaning a restaurant) with Omen. It is a few miles from the mansion in the town of North Salem, and they called it Chuck's (both out of amusement and as an homage to the Professor). They serve a variety of foods and have gotten their restaurant license (however lax the government has been as it rebuilds). The building they chose is an abandoned Denny's, and they recruited the help of several X-Men in cleaning it up and getting the Denny's sign down (yeah, it had to go). They opened in September of 2009. The pair are still inseperable and stay at the school when they aren't covering shifts at the popular 24-hour diner. • Zap (24) - There was a small debate whether or not she and Mars would take the cure to the Upir Virus, but after they had, all was better. Zap contacted her rather large family and has taken several trips (a few lasting more than a month at a time) to her birthplace (and her family's current residence) in Illinois. Mars has gone with her on more than one trip, and Sentient has gone once or twice. Now that things are settled and (more) secure for the Pallatons, she's settling back into life at the mansion. |
rob's pups: • Colossus (25) - Once the doctors discovered a cure for the Upir Virus, Piotr was the first in line to take it. Back to his old self again he returned to Europe (with Britannic) and more specifically Russia to aid rebuilding efforts on his native soil. The journey and the work proved cleansing to the artist and helped him find his center once more after his time as a 'vampire'. Once he and Brian felt their work was done abroad, they returned to Xavier's. Piotr was ecstatic to return to what he now considered his home and to the friends he had left behind. He quickly got back into the swing of things, taking up all of his former duties. • Damage (32) - Jonah, unable to see himself as an X-Man, remained with the Brotherhood, even after the death of their leader. He does not believe that a true peace can ever remain between mutants and humans. He is convinced the humans will try again, even more desperately to destroy the mutant population. Understandably so, contact with is cousin has become strained. • Forge (53) - Despite requests from the U.S. Government to return to work at the Pentagon, Forge has become a fixture at Xavier's for decades now and wasn't about to pick up and leave. He's remained at the school, teaching, training, and inventing his time away. • Omen (25) - Will and Troy quickly became bored now that their studies were complete and they had no one to teach, and began work on their shared dream; owning a restaurant. It is a few miles from the mansion in the town of North Salem, and they called it Chuck's (both out of amusement and as an homage to the Professor). They serve a variety of foods, have gotten their license (however lax the government has been as it rebuilds) and stay at the school when the restaurant is closed. The building they chose is an abandoned Denny's, and they recruited the help of several X-Men in cleaning it up. They have hired a staff of local • Sabretooth (?) - Victor, after selling his soul to the Hellfire club, has been busy keeping up with his new master. The Black King has used Victor for some of his more 'sensitive' operations. 'Sensitive' meaning lethal and nothing Shaw would like traced back to him. Not entirely happy with the HFC, Victor is still waiting for his moment to strike out on his own. He doubts the Black King will allow such a betrayal, so he is bidding his time. • Sentient (22) - Now twenty-two, and finished with his college courses, Conlan has remained at Xavier's. He's poured himself into his duties as an X-Man, his romantic relationship with Joe, and helping the world get back on its feet. He has produced (with help from his fellow X-Men [because you get Ronan, Zap, Joe, Logan, and Forge together and they'll survive anything]) a small series of training videos distributed on the internet and DVD's which teach people important lessons on coping in the new world. Anything from info on the Upir Virus, encountering Darkseekers, to general safety and health in outlying areas. He hopes these videos will aid the population in returning to a normal life and help him find his way into the 'new Hollywood' that he's heard whispers of. • Wolverine (?) - Having been at the mansion now for the longest consecutive number of months in a row, Logan has decided to make his time with Xavier long term. With much of his past still shrouded in mystery (and most of the people responsible) Logan has made peace with the idea of never fully understanding his origins. His relationships at the mansion have also improved as he has buried the hatchets with both Ororo and Scott. And mostly because of Scott and Jean's separation, has become even closer to Jean, this time around elected to take it slow, first building on their friendship. Logan trains nearly around the clock; both X-Men and mutants of all ages staying at Xavier's. It's still a dangerous world out there, and the Wolverine doesn't want anyone to forget that. |
dan's pups: • Avalanche (30) - Dominic was turned into a vampire and was lured to the HFC by Emma. As the government was restructuring, Shaw's influence guided Dominic into the position of ambassador for Greece. He is often found at the Greek embassy in Washington D.C. His criminal record was not only destroyed, but is of little importance while the world is rebuilding. • Hellion (27) - Hellion is now a member of the Brotherhood of Mutants and continues to spy for the X-Men, consistently leaking information to the Professor. He has gained the ultimate trust of the Brotherhood leader, but still is doubted at times by some of the other members. • Iceman (24) - Iceman continues to build leadership skills and trains under the senior X-Men. He still looks for any opportunity to lead missions and be one of the most active members. His relationship with Rogue has progressed and he is currently contemplating the idea of proposal. • Recon (27) - Josiah's romantic relationship with Conlan continues, though Mars is still getting used to the idea. Joe has left the mansion on a few occasions over the past year to work at the CDC and provide insight to government scientists. He is often found either in the lab or at "Chuck's" hanging out. |
jorge's pups: • Jubilee (21) - Jubilee is still taking college courses and is well on her way to becoming an actress, despite the fact that there is no media to really speak of save in certain areas. While Brian was off helping his fellow countrymen (and Pete's), she devoted as much time as possible with the rebuilding of the community. She is very happy that Britannic has returned and hugs him whenever he walks by. • Levity (24) - Levity returned home to be with her family to help them out before going back to the mansion and resuming her duties as counselor. With Emma's departure and the influx of new people, her job is busier than ever. She continued working on her doctorate and has recently gotten her PhD. Over the course of the year, Levity had found that she'd grown quite fond of Gambit and Scott (a girl can dream, eh?). • Mars (30) - After being cured of the vampirism, Mars went along with Zap when she went back to see in on her family. While there, he put off his regular activities as long as he could (which only lasted while her family was actually present). He is now back at the mansion and continuing his normal practices of inventing, loving Zap, and threatening to shoot people. • Nightcrawler (41) - Became a father. Harmon is a quite a handful and his mutation causes Kurt and Ororo much worry. It's hard watching your son grow up much faster than a normal child does. Married Storm. Probably not the wedding of either of their dreams (as it was rushed), but he loves her very much and does everything he can for her and Harmon. He is still teaching drama and German as well as training/mentoring as there are a growing number of new students at the school. • Polaris (38) - In the months that the Brotherhood had been at the mansion, Lorna had had a chance to connect with her father and had grown resentful of the Professor's tampering in their relationship (i.e. withholding the letters Erik had sent her over the years). After his death, she discovered said letters and confronted Xavier after reading them. Her extreme emotional state combined with her volatile mutation, caused the breakdown of Lorna's mental stability. Her feelings of grief, anger, and vengeance provoked her to leave her home of 30+ years only to reemerge as the new leader (along with Mystique) of the Brotherhood. • Wicked (25) - Wicked is still at the school and since Will no longer teaches, she's taken the position as the full-time history instructor. She uses and unorthodox teaching method so the students can get an almost firsthand account of her lessons as she summons spirits who are willing to lecture for a few hours. Wicked had always been close friends with Shan and had wanted to take the relationship further and was overjoyed when the other woman felt the same. |
