A Writer's Resource

Welcome to the IJ asylum Writing Resources.  If you're here, you've likely been shown this place by me, as I'm not going to be advertising it around.  I came up with the idea as I was going through all my writing resources of late.  There are just so many writing links and other writing resources that I have in my bookmarks that would be far easier to access if organized via tags, so I decided to make an Asylum to keep track of them.  Then I figured, why not let others post their favorite sites for different things as well? 

The idea behind this is that each resource will have its own entry, and a tag or two (not sure how many yet, but hopefully most won't require too many tags, to keep this simple.)  At the moment, my ideas are -

dictionary - [type] (this would include languages, slang, term lists, and also naming lists.)
fandom - [fandom]
history - [era] - [general location]
character building - [type] (essays, archtype lists, character questions, other)
encyclopedia - [type] (general interest, or specific interest)
world building - [type] (essays, resource lists, other)
mythology - [pantheon] (also can include "general" for all-inclusive resource lists)
maps - [location]
quotes

And I'm sure there will be more, but that's enough to start with.  As it is, I'll have to add the tags as we go, so just let me know what you need, and I'll add it.

As for layout of the entry?

Title the Entry with the name of the site, then use this template for the entry:

<b>Name of site</b>: <b>Type of link</b>: (this should basically be what the entry will be tagged, but keep it general, please) <b>Warnings</b>: (anything if needed--does the site go down a lot? Is there adult content?) <b>Explanation of link</b>: (particularly include why you like this site over others, and what makes it stand out, as well, as what it's best uses are, ie, if it's a name site, is it best for random names, or for finding specific types?)
