2019 WOMP Actors Guild Awards
With Monday's opening of nominations, the WOMP Actors Guild is pleased to announce the beginning of awards season! As all tuned-in witches and wizards know, the WAG Awards (colloquially known as The Betties after Wizzywood's beloved founder, Betty Maverick) are approaching! The awards show, hosted late February each year in the famous Dragonet Theater in the Las Vegas Demimonde, is one of showbiz's most anticipated events, and those lucky enough to be nominated or to attend as guests will have the chance to walk the wizarding world's biggest red carpet, rub elbows with stars and wannabes alike, and have all eyes on them in the live show viewed around the world! Hosted by WizTech CEO and social media personality, the ever-popular Alistair Sterling, the awards show will be broadcast live from the Dragonet Theater on Saturday, February 22nd.
Publicists and managers are invited to submit For Your Consideration reels to the Guild offices through close of day on January 17th. A list of nominees will be released by January 24th.
