Somehow my five-year-old who used to love to tell me that romance was "ishy" and she would never ever (ever!) want to have a boyfriend has turned into a fourteen-year-old with her first date to a school dance and definite opinions on fashion. When did that even happen and how can I undo it?

Max, thankfully, remains completely uninterested in Valentine's Day, except the parts that involve candy. We're going to stay home and draw dinosaurs, and maybe watch something without smooching on TV. Anyone else have thrilling plans?

Do people still use these? Or are they being left in the last decade?

I hope it's not the latter as having an unrestricted amount of characters is most convenient.

On a different note, I was reliably informed by a barista this morning that February 5th, is National Shower with a Friend Day. I checked, and it's true, though why they told me is another matter. But I am all for water conservation.

FLYBOYS ARE IN THE FINALS! HIGHER, FURTHER, FASTER!

What a match!! Did you all see that? It was INCREDIBLE, I'm floating, what an ending, what an upset! I wasn't sure we had it until the last few Quods. We haven't been to a final since 2014, so this is big. So obviously we're going to the match on the 30th. It's home turf, so that'll be even better. I'm gonna snap up some tickets right away. Who's coming with me? Maybe we can get a block, I'll check with the Flyboys office.

I love my sister, and I'm so happy she's getting married to the love of her life in a month.

I had to say that before I say that apartment hunting sucks and I hate it, and why are deposits so much??

It's true, we're engaged! All other details are TBA, but we should probably have a party, huh?

Okay, folks. We're trying this thing again. No more studio sponsorship because of that whole thing in the spring with He Who Shall Remain Nameless deciding to use fully-loaded quods instead of the amateur standard, but I'm not going to let a little thing like a broken face stop us. As long as we can find a place to play, it's not like we need a fancy name on the back of our jerseys to feel special.

That said - we're doing the thing. My team is open to returning and new members. The Nameless One's team will need some new leadership. Anyone wanna step up? And I'm thinking we could stand to have a third team this year, if we've got enough interest. Just to keep things fresh.
