What: Pansy has some exciting news and Daphne's trying to strangle her with her bare hands.
Tossing her journal down, Daphne slid out of Nigel's bed and began hunting around for her clothes. He was already at one of his ridiculously early practices so Daphne felt no need to be quiet and sneak out as she normally would have, and instead pranced around starkers as she collected various items of clothing. Giving herself a brief once over in his mirror, she skipped from the flat and waited for the lift to take her down from the Penthouse to her own flat she shared with Tracey and Pansy.
Or soon to be just Tracey. Scowling, Daphne pressed the button again. She really could not believe how stupid Pansy was. Draco blatantly cheated on her and was still unrepentant for it! No matter what that lying ferret said to Pansy, Daphne knew the only thing he really regretted was getting caught. Bastard.
When the lift arrived she huffed inside, crossing her arms and staring up at the ceiling. This was utterly ridiculous. Not only was Pansy resigning herself to a life of servitude and baby making... she was doing it with someone who didn't even appreciate her and had no respectability! Daphne didn't care what team Draco played for or how good he was. He turned on his own father - his own flesh and blood. She'd never do that to Benedict!
Daphne stopped her train of thought just as the lift stopped. Best not to think about Benedict. It was easier to intentionally forget about what he had done. Best to think about how she was going to stop this without Pansy ever being the wiser. Her friend did say she wanted advice, didn't she? Well, then she'd be sure to give her the best advice she had.
Straightening her shoulders and tossing her dark hair, Daphne forced a radiant smile to her face and sauntered over to her flat and turned the knob - poking her head in. "Pansy! I'm here! Now where's this ring?! It better be prettier than the last!" | | comments: 11 comments or Leave a comment |
