Game In Review: October 4 - October 14, 1997 (2009)
Quite a bit happened in these last two weeks! Most recently, it's all about the scene lotteries, but before that we had the drama with the Squid! (That was/is the most awesome plot, btw. Especially since it sprang from a scene lottery. We love it when plots spring up that we hadn't thought of!) Also, the Trio is moving forward with the locket Horcrux, so lots of things have been happening.
Game In Review: October 4 - October 14, 1997 (2009)
October 4: Pro Quidditch scores for the day come in, and Oliver is not pleased with the way he played. At Hogwarts, the planned House Unity Party takes place in the afternoon, leading to several interesting student interactions. Elsewhere, students respond to the changing seasons and on the recent trip to Hogsmeade among other things. Meanwhile, Draco is sporting arm bandages and Death Eaters are responding to the recent angry burning of their Dark Marks.
October 5: The Daily Prophet reports the Ministry's decision to remove the Giant Squid from Hogwarts. Students in all houses and some adults begin to respond to this news, and the Slytherins rally to defend Daphne.
October 6: Students continue to respond to the removal of the Giant Squid, as he is actually removed from the lake today. With Fred's help, though, Sam and Ginny have a plan to get revenge for him. Draco and Astoria talk about the whole mess. Ernie responds to the squid situation, but also thinks of the DA and considers new members, and the locket horcrux being at Hogwarts begins to affect Gryffindors. Meanwhile, Verity is sure she's made a fool of herself. Elsewhere, Alecto and Rabastan have a job to do, and it requires a trip to Bulgaria.
October 7: Verity feels a bit better. Daphne and Astoria do not, however, as Ginny and Sam's revenge is carried out, and Astoria and a poor lower form Slytherin are covered in potent itching powder. The reaction to this prank is widespread and varied from students, and the Slytherins begin to plan a counter attack (save for those who are enjoying dinner) while Sam and Ginny discuss their failure</a>. The Ministry promises that the Squid is safely placed in Scotland, and later Percy has another dinner with Penny. Death Eaters, however, have more important concerns.
October 8: The DA holds a meeting and decides on a strategy for taking in new members, and Bellatrix lets Death Eaters in on why Voldemort was so angry recently. Meanwhile, Harry is feeling the effects of the locket Horcrux and Dumbledore fears a new threat at Hogwarts. Elsehwere, Audrey has a strange question for Ravenclaws, and Nikolas Vaisey is working with Ernie to discover the whereabouts of the Squid, who is still a big topic of conversation. As Head Boy, Ernie is trying to figure out who sent the itching powder to the Greengrass sisters. The Daily Prophet reports (sort of) on some confused muggles in Godric's Hollow, but no one really notices. More surprisingly, Percy invites himself to Fred and George's for dinner, and Charlie wants to talk to Ginny.
October 9: Ginny has caught on to Ernie's plan to discover the culprits behind the itching powder prank, but Pansy is very upset by what happened to Daphne and Astoria, and speeds along the plans for revenge. Students are finally finding other things to talk about, however, even if the Squid is still missed. Audrey and Sam go for a walk on the grounds.
October 10: Snape would appreciate a winning Quidditch season, while Narcissa is concerned for her family, and Lisa finds an interesting spell while researching in the Library.
October 11:Theodore Nott receives an unusual parcel and goes to Snape before he opens it, and Alife and Julien hide out on the grounds. Megan and Eloise have some girl time in the dorms, while a classroom traps Branwen and Vicky. Meanwhile, Pansy proposes a way to get revenge on Ginny Weasley for the prank on the Greengrasses, but Greg doesn't see what the big deal is. On a related note, Nikolas has almost discovered where the Squid was taken. But Daphne has other problems now. Rabastan and Alecto carry out their orders in Bulgaria. Elsewhere, Alicia goes to see the twins after getting a little bruised.
October 12: Katie has a bad date while Percy watches, and George runs in to Adrian. At Hogwarts, students begin planning for Susan's birthday, and Nikolas reflects on his fiancee.
October 13: Students continue to move away from talking about the Squid. Oliver does as well, by wondering again if he's a girl. Meanwhile, Austin comforts an upset Drew and Lisa talks with Michael about her recent research.
October 14: Plans continue for Susan's birthday, and she receives many birthday wishes. Meanwhile, Gryffindors are testy - likely because of the horcrux, and it doesn't help Harry that he gets stuck in a bathroom with Theo. At least some students are having a good week! Elsewhere, Rodolphus is geting anxious, but Mulciber and Lucius find a way to pass the time. At dinner, Pansy gets her revenge on Ginny.

Remember that these recaps are for the game as a whole. If I've left out something, it just means I missed it, so please let me know. If you're interested in just the metaplot aspects there is a reference here that will chart just those things that happen to affect the overarching plots of the game.
