Who: Alfie and Ellie Cattermole
When: This morning
Where: 6th year Hufflepuff boys dorm
What: Ellie's gotten tired of waiting and pounces on her twin for information and twin bonding time!
Rating: G - PG, really low.
Open/Closed: Closed

Ellie tried to be good and wait for Alfie to come talk to her, she really did. He'd said he wanted to talk to her after their first double Hogsmeade weekend, but them nothing had come of it. She'd waited though and her patience had grown thin. She'd already ambushed Audrey into talking when she'd gotten tired of waiting, but she always had more patience for Alfie, her twin. After all siblings could always wait for the others to come to them with problems and for twins she felt that was even more so. But Ellie had limited patience and finally it had snapped.

As it stood she probably would have already ambushed Alfie in her own special way, but she thought it would be easier to wait until the holiday break. What she hadn't expected was to be stuck at Hogwarts over the break, but her plan was easily adjusted. After all Hogwarts only kept the boys out of the girls dorm, not the other way around. So now a couple days into break she was ready to force the issue of them having a chat.

The only problem with her plan was that she didn't want to get up early. It was the holiday and she didn't have class. She wasn't required to be out of bed at a certain time and she liked just lounging. But she set an alarm for herself to be up earlier then she would be normally during the holidays and at least ran a brush through her hair. She didn't bother dressing though as basically everyone in Hufflepuff had seen her in her pajamas before and she wanted to be comfy for this chat. And if Alfie got to be in his pajamas for it then she got to be in hers.

It didn't take long for Ellie to get to the correct boys dorm and she eased the door open, grinning when she saw the hangings open and Alfie snuggled in his bed. Perfect. This was just how she wanted to find him and she grinned in anticipation. Quietly she made her way to the bed, careful to avoid anything that would make noise. She eased herself up onto it, feeling the bed dip just slightly as she made her way closer to Alfie. Her head tilted to the side as she surveyed him, noticing how peaceful he looked asleep, before she started bouncing on the bed.

"Wakey wakey, Alfiebug! Time to chat with your most favorite sister ever!"

"Thanks," Alfie mumbled, then snorted. "Maybe when we graduate and get places of our own. Maybe that would be the best time." Because no matter how much their parents loved him, he couldn't imagine their Dad being.... well, pleased. That his son was a giant poof.

He pushed the thought away and looked at her. "He's a really good bloke. I mean, I like him." Too much, maybe.

"Sounds like you are a bit worried to me, but I definitely won't be pushing you to tell." She really only ever felt the need to push him to tell her things, not others. But she would be there for him if he wanted her there when and if he chose to tell them.

"Hmm... I'll take your word on that." Not that she thought he was bad. "I've only had a real chat with him once and he kinda frustrated me. A lot."

Alfie looked concerned at that, though, looking at his sister suddenly. "He did?" Because it really, really wouldn't do to have his sister not like his... well, his whatever Julien was.

"Yes! He was just so frustrating!" She huffed and pouted at him, crossing her arms over her chest though she wasn't actually annoyed. "But that was when you were both blaming yourselves for kissing and so I was just going in a big circle with him. I'm sure he's easier to put up with when he isn't doing that." And she was pretty sure she worded that poorly.

Alfie blushed again, this time sharply, but laughed. "Oh. Yeah. Yeah... we sort of figured that out, how wrong we were being." And they'd done a lot more than kissing since, but that was definitely not something you told your sister about, twin or not.

Ellie grinned happily, pleased that Alfie seemed so happy about it. "Your blushing again, Alfie. I'm thinking you definitely like him more then I thought you did." That was enough for her not to be overly annoyed at him breaking up with Audrey so soon. She'd just have to find some way to cheer Audrey up. Maybe she'd see about getting her some Weird Sister stuff like she got the other day...

Saying that he was blushing made him blush more, and he shrugged sheepishly. "We've... we've figured some stuff out, you know?" Which didn't really explain anything. Alfie thought it was probably better that way.

She giggled amusedly. She was definitely going to remember this for a while. It wasn't often she got to see Alfie blushing where he still seemed happy and not annoyed or overly embarrassed. "I bet you did. You can keep that to yourself though. It is good you did when you did because I was getting ready to lock you two in somewhere together or something."

Alfie blushed again, but now that she was giggling about it it didn't seem so horrible to tease, and he shrugged and said, "Yeah. That's actually what we did to get over it, too."

She blinked at him and tilted her head to the side, considering what he'd said. "You... locked each other in a room together?" She wasn't even exactly certain how that would work. Had Alfie done it and disarmed Dorny or had it been the other way around?
