WHO: Pansy and Draco
WHAT: Lounging by the lake~
WHERE: The lake
WHEN: 2 December
STATUS/RATING: Incomplete/lololol R, duh
The Astronomy Tower was a rather cold and dreary place, but sometimes Pansy would enjoy escaping there for a few slight moments of solitude -- after all, even the Queen needed a break from her reign. And truthfully, worries about the Cause and general survival had distracted her from her normal duties, such as arrogantly flaunting her relationship with Draco in front of the school. She attributed their recent lack of contact to their recent lack of time; now that silly schoolwork was heavier than ever and the Cause's imminent attack was closer to being launched, it was easy to simply forget.
But of course, Pansy was not so dumb to truly believe her own lies; she decidedly wore a blindfold to the truth, simply that their relationship status had faded into distinct ambiguity since the troubles that befell them the past year. Or maybe even "ambiguity" was too kind, but she could not bring herself to admit that maybe at this point they were fully separated. Draco had recently taken rare measures to spend time with her, and penning a note that she felt was rather obvious still did not seem to alert the male mind. Ah -- men could be forgiven; they are, after all, usually preoccupied with other more important things than dealing with the foibles of courting a woman.
Thus, in a decidedly happy -- masking over confusion -- mindset she headed to the lake, where they had arranged to meet. It was a cool, somewhat chilly day and she wrapped her robe slightly tighter (which had the added benefit of more flatteringly embracing what curves she had). Pansy's initial glance across the landscape did not find its object, and so she paused momentarily to wait.
