Who: Fred and Angelina
What: Catching Up, talking about Brilliance!
Where: WWW
When: Today
Rating/Warning: TBA

Fred was minding the shop while George was off getting the last things ready and hiring a few of the magical contractors for the ship in Hogsmeade. Now that they'd gone over everything, all that was left to do was actually build it, which wasn't that big of a thing, honest, since most of it could be done with charms. Still, it left them a man down again at the shop, with Verity doing inventory, and he wondered what they'd do when they were splitting their time between two shops and Lee's project.

When the bell rang, he couldn't even go down the stairs to greet whoever it was. It had been a slow day, but even a slow day in the WWW was busier than a lot of shops in the Alley these days.

Fred's eyebrows cocked up. "Batboy was shite? But they had pictures with the webbed arms and diagrams of the sonar and all..." But he shrugged it off, smacking the side of his crate hard to get whatever was moving around in there to stop. It seemed to work.

"Right. So, if you want to get news, real news, now, you've got to have something sane, that the Ministry can't get their claws in, right?"

She blinked at Fred for a moment a bit stupidly. "Oh even you don't believe in batboy." She said rolling her eyes.

But no, they had important things to discuss. "I'm guessing that Lee in all his brilliance came up with the perfect way to do this."

"Well, Lee came up with the idea, and George and I came up with how to pull it off...." Fred paused for effect, then took a breath and said, very seriously, "Radio."

"Radio? No throwing newletters off of rooftops then?" She said with a smile. Because seriously... "Isn't the wireless traceable."

"Not if you can charm the signal," Fred waved his hand. "It's complicated. Took George and I three weeks just to figure out how to do it. But if we piggyback our signal on the real WWN signal, it'll work. Just have to change our channel every time..."

"Well... shit." She said looking mildly impressed. She knew the twins were smart, but once in a while they did something so amazing that reminded her just how smart they really were. "So when do we start?"

"Soon as the shop's up in Hogsmeade," Fred answered, then he looked down at his feet for a second. "Not telling everyone in the Order about it, yet. I'm hoping we can report on Harry and them, figure out a system through the radio for keeping them safe while they're off running."
