Entry tags:!2003: 07, !incomplete, alecto carrow, weiland mulciber

WHO: Weiland Mulciber (as Kentaro Ishikawa) and Alecto Carrow (as Allison Karras)
WHERE: Memorial Park
WHEN: around 8 AM
WHY: to survey the damage
RATING: PG-13
STATUS: incomplete

The news had spread like wildfire. Weiland woke from his sleep in a room above a creaky old tavern in Knockturn Alley to the sound of rumours of what was going on in Memorial Park.

"It's bleedin' mental," one young Wizard said to another as they stood by the bar--in this place, it was never too early to drink, and they both had flagons of mead in their hands. "The thing's got the bloomin' Potter kid dead, an' the mark wot them Death Eaters wore, hexin' anyone who gets too close to it. Saw it bolt one old sod right in the arse."

While the two young ones were laughing, Weiland slipped outside, holding a drink of a different sort in his hand. He dropped a bit of hair from a friend in the odourous brew, held his nose, and took a swig. Within moments, under the cloak he wore that hid his face, his features changed. He dropped the hood of his cloak to reveal a much younger and much more Asian face.

He stood at the edge of the square, watching the response team try to restore the statue. THe hexing Dark Mark was gone--the thought of it made him scratch the skin on his left arm, where his own used to be.

Alecto Carrow was proud of her work, it was like old times. The vandalism was nothing fancy, but it was still a thrill that didn't come often for her. The fear that some people had in their eyes made her smile. Alecto knew she wouldn't be recognized, she knew that she was at no risk lingering in the park. She was just another face in the crowd to the authority figures, and that's what made this all the more enjoyable.

Seated on a bench at the edge of the park she had a perfect view of the statue and the Aurors who were trying to restore it back to it's original state. Sharp, keen eyes remained trained on the aurors, as crimson painted lips were pulled into a perpetual smirk. To those that knew the old Alecto, the only thing that gave away her identity publicly was that twinkle in her dark gaze. It was a twinkle that only came during excitement. Twinkle that rarely showed itself in the past five years.

Five years seemed like a lifetime to Alecto. Five years and so much happened. Life changing things, her appearance was really just the tip of the iceberg. It was the result of a glacier of other things which all stemmed from the Dark Lord's death. The vandalism of the statue wasn't a joke, it was to remind those that even though voldemort might be dead, his values and morals still were strong. Alecto wasn't going to forget, she couldn't forget. She was loyal to the core and she planned on reminding the rest of the wizarding world that fear should not be erased.

Propping her elbows on the back of her bench, she arched her back slightly and yawned. Spending a night in the park was exhausting. The excitement and adrenaline were the only things keeping her eyes open at this point, yet she didn't want to leave. She wanted to see this through, and see the full result of her destruction. Tossing black hair out of her gave and finger traced along her sharp jaw line. She really couldn't get over how well her change worked. Even people who feared her years ago wanted to sit down and have tea with her, it was astounding. Of course, those witches and wizards who dabbled in the likes of Knockturn Alley knew her as Allison Karras, the owner of the giant spiders shoppe. Only Amycus knew Allison Karras was actually Alecto Carrow. Of course there were still the "mysterious similarities", her voice hadn't changed, nor had her laugh... those that typically heard her before the change were baffled as to why her voice sounded familiar but could never put their finger on why. Then, as mentioned before, there was that look in her eyes. Finally, not too much about her personality had changed. Still a bit nutters, only know instead of hell-bent on world domination, she was stuck on revenge.

All in all, Alecto really hadn't changed.

Weiland looked around, dividing his gaze between the Aurors and... someone who could quite easily draw anyone's attention. Quite the stunner, yes, but... There was something else about this woman that Weiland couldn't quite put his finger on.

He moved over towards the bench where Alecto sat, walking slowly, glancing backward at the statue. This woman seemed particularly attentive of the action going on in the center of the park. If he didn't know better, he might consider she was the culprit. But he did know better--this looked like a Carrow's handiwork to him. Most likely Alecto. Wherever she was.

He sat down and leaned forward, clasping his hands, attentively watching the show. He put his own mannerisms aside--for now, he was a different person.

Wherever she was, indeed.

Alecto was keenly aware that someone sat down on the same bench as her, but she didn't say anything, yet. Her attention was drawn to the statue, the way the aurors were darting around the thing, flailing like like chickens without their heads. It was when one auror got a little too close and was instantly blasted back a good few feet that Alecto burst out into a fit of giggles. Placing a hand over her lips to stifle the laughter, Alecto shook her head.

"Bloody idiots, you would think after all those years of training they would be able to reverse a simple blasting hex." Alecto didn't bother to mask her voice, the woman remembered practically everyone she's ever come across, and this young man was not someone she recognized, she felt safe to speak around him without feeling threatened.

A smug grin curled on her lips as she watched a mediwizard rush over to the auror who was hexed. Alecto was smart when it came to mischief, she did the predictable which usually threw off the authorities when it involved a Death Eater. While Aurors thought Alecto would not dare to do the obvious thus they prepared for the less obvious she would turn and do the obvious. Which was what happened with this statue, aurors were so positive that whoever transfigured that statue had placed a VERY strong hex on it, thus they began to use all the intricate difficult spells to undo the hex, when really Alecto only used a simple hex that she learned in Hogwarts as a young girl.

The voice nearly caught Weiland's breath. That crafty bitch--she'd hidden in plain sight. From the looks of her, she'd gone through a lot of changes. He could think of two wizards in particular who would hex him into oblivion for expressing how he thought she looked. Not that he totally objected to the old her...

"In my country," he said, in Kentaro's voice, "The Aurors are not so dumb. They start from the bottom up. Simple first, then complicated." He shook his head. "These fools wouldn't last a day in Tokyo."

He looked over at the woman he was 99 percent sure was Alecto, and bowed politely in his seat. "I am Kentaro Ishikawa. Konichiwa gozaimatsu. Hello."

A lot changes, no doubt about that. Painful, permanent changes. If muggles could do it, why couldn't she? Of course she didn't have the medical prowess that a plastic surgeon did, but she had magic, and that was good enough in her mind. Amycus had no complaints against her new look, and that's really all that mattered. Besides, with her new face she could go out into the public and pull stunts like the one before them.

Dark gaze darted to the young man as he spoke, lips curling into a cruel smirk as she looked back wistfully towards the aurors, "You would think they would have at least an ounce of common sense. Be careful what you wish for, the rate their going, they might just accidentally apparate themselves to Japan." Mind began to race with what sort of catastrophes aurors could get into in Japan. Merlin, she began to wonder how they put their pants on right ways.

Head tilted curiously towards the man as he introduced himself. The name was not familiar at all, but then again, she's been living under a rock for the past few years. "Kentaro Ishikawa...." She said slowly, allowing the foreign name to roll off her tongue. "That's a mouthful." She replied bluntly.
